Dulles Youth Basketball (DYB) Registration is CLOSED for the 2024-2025 Season
Registration is open to all Loudoun County residents and will remain open until player capacity is reached
Registration cost per child is $195 which includes county participation fee
Late registration (September 1st) cost per child is $235

Parents by signing the registration form you agree to the following:
ALL players are REQUIRED to participate in one evaluation session conducted by the league for their appropriate grade level in order to be placed on a team. Players who cannot attend an evaluation session due to illness, injury or family emergency must be communicated to the league to determine a method to properly assess a child’s skill level. The schedule for League evaluations will be posted on the Dulles Youth Basketball (DYB) website: www.ashburnathleticassociation.com Please check the league's website frequently for this information in order to get the registered player(s) to the required session.
There is no medical insurance provided by Loudoun County or DYB. As the parent or legal guardian of the named player, I grant permission for this minor/player to participate in all activities of the Dulles Youth Basketball League. I assume all risks and hazards associated with all such activities and do hereby release and waive all claims against Loudoun County, Parks and Recreation, DYB, Coaches and Sponsors. I hereby authorize The Dulles Youth Basketball League to have the named player treated in the case of emergency (i.e. injury) when I am unavailable to authorize emergency treatment.
DYB Refund Policy & Process:
All refunds must be requested in writing via email to dyb@ashburnathleticassociation.com. The deadline to request a refund will be October 15th; if requested by September 15th a full refund amount less $35 will be made; if request is made between September 15th and October 15th a refund for the full amount less $75 will be paid.
Dulles Youth Basketball (DYB) will follow the below plan of action if uncontrollable events prevent us from executing our season as intended:
Cancellation of the season prior to September 15th will result in a full refund minus $35 of the amount paid per player.
Cancellation of season between September 15th and October 15th will result in a refund amount of $150 per player to include late registration. This milestone assumes that player evaluations have been completed as intended along with associated insurance requirements. Cancellation of the season between October 15th and November 15th will result in a refund amount of $125 per player.
Cancellation of season at any time after November 15th will result in the deduction of $20 per event (practice/game) completed will be subtracted from a registration fee of $160 (which includes late registration). Once the league reaches 8 events (practice/game) conducted the season will be deemed completed.
All registration is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED until the league is full.
The registration below is for the WINTER 2024-2025 Season - we do not have a spring or summer season. Once you register, you will likely not hear from the league until sometime in August or September as we get closer to player evaluations.
All registration is done online via a credit card - there is no in person registration, and we do not accept checks or cash.
All EVENTS (PRACTICE/GAMES) are played at CEDAR Lane Elementary. We do not guarantee that all requests are accommodated, but we do our best to at least accommodate one per child if possible. All teams are formed based on the information collected during player skill evaluations conducted in October (there is no DRAFT).
